100% Local Processing

Unlike traditional PDF tools that upload your sensitive documents to a remote server, LumioPDF uses WebAssembly (WASM) to run the entire processing engine inside your browser. Your files never leave your computer's RAM.

What We Collect

We've designed this platform to be as "silent" as possible. Here is exactly what we track:

• Anonymized UsageWe track which tools are clicked (e.g., "Merge PDF") to improve our UI.
• Performance MetricsWe track how long a process takes locally to optimize our WASM engine.
• Error LogsIf a local process fails, we log the error type (but never the file content or name).

Zero Data Retention

Since we have no backend database for your files, there is nothing to retain. When you close your browser tab, every trace of the document being processed is wiped from your device's memory. We do not use cookies to track your documents, and we do not use your data for AI training.

Trust, but verify.

You can verify our "Local Only" claim at any time by turning off your Wi-Fi after the page has loaded. LumioPDF will continue to work perfectly.
